Dear Piano Enthusiast,
If you've ever admired the beautiful, rich-sounding, improvised
sounds of jazz piano, if you've ever wondered just how someone can take
a simple song and make it sound so unique and professional, if you've
ever thought to yourself, "I would LOVE to be able to play jazz piano
like that guy," then the web page you are reading right now may very
well change your life.
Here's why...
I
Was Feeling Trapped
I
spent the first 20+ years of my piano-playing life glued to sheet music
and books filled with complete piano arrangements of popular songs.
I must admit... I got pretty good at sight-reading, and it was fun
sitting down to play whatever I wanted to...
As long as I had the sheet music!
But as I got a little older, I realized a lot of those arrangements
were kind of "square," if you know what I mean.
They just didn't have that certain "sound," you know?
I couldn't even really describe it at the time, because I wasn't
exactly sure what I was looking for.
I also felt like I needed more freedom at the piano.
The
sheet music was becoming a bit of a ball and chain for me, constraining
me to play in a certain way, and always having to spend an increasing
amount of money on new music.
My
Escape From Boring Piano Music
I felt like improvisation might be the answer, so I began to look for
books and courses that taught me how to do that.
But I was quickly overwhelmed.
I would find a little technique I could use, but I wasn't sure how to
fit that single piece into the entire puzzle.
Or
I would find some giant book on "jazz piano" that just kind of blew me
away and wore me out whenever I tried to work through it.
A
Teacher With A Plan
And that's when I met a piano teacher who would literally change my
life.
She was a professional "jazz pianist" who taught at a local community
music school.
I
don't remember exactly how I found her, but I seem to recall that my
interest in jazz piano and improvisation is what prompted me to pick
her name out of the course catalog.
Very quickly, we started
to get to work - studying scales and chords and - more importantly -
very simple, specific techniques I could apply to songs and create a
professional jazz piano sound.
I was amazed!
Could it be this simple?
Just a handful of techniques that I could apply whenever I needed and
create my own arrangements of classic tunes?
The answer was... YES!
And now... FINALLY... I'm happy to bring those very same techniques to
you in my video piano course...
Jazz
Piano... FAST!
In just over 4 hours of
over-my-shoulder video
piano lessons - where you can watch both my hands AND my light-up
computer keyboard just above my real keyboard - I'll show you:

crazy-simple techniques to give it new life, apply your own emotional
feel and phrasing, and create a simple improvised arrangement that is
uniquely YOU! |

Exactly what changes to make to the most
common piano chords to
immediately make them sound rich, interesting, and... well... "jazzy"
:-) |

How to create introductions and endings
using parts of the song
your playing, simple chord progressions, or classic intros and endings
that have been passed down from musician to musician for years. |
|
|

How to take a simple lead sheet (melody +
chords) and organize it
into a basic arrangement, so you'll now exactly what pieces you'll need

How you can literally change an entire song
into something almost
completely different by making a few basic tweaks to REALLY create a

The most efficient way to learn chords -
there's no need to worry
about the entire universe of chords when you can learn just a few to

with different rhythms - that you can add to your repertoire
immediately... "Moonlight in Vermont," "Satin Doll," and "The Girl From
Ipanema." |

A
handful of additional jazz piano techniques that you can use in your
solo playing, or when playing with other musicians (or an accompaniment

My favorite resource books and software to
help you build a solid foundation for your jazz piano playing. |
It's About Time!
I can't overstate the fact that the techniques you'll learn in this
course quite literally changed my life.
Not
only did they bring me countless piano performance gigs, but they gave
me a whole new appreciation for other piano players and for jazz in
general.
And I'm confident they can do the same for you.
It's
Like THREE "Lead Sheet Breakdowns"
If you've had the chance to check out any of my other lessons, you
might be familiar with a format I created that I call a "Lead Sheet
Breakdown."
That's where I take a classic lead sheet and show you how to create a
complete arrangement for yourself on the piano.
Well,
in putting Jazz Piano Fast together, I actually ended up with what are
THREE nearly complete "Lead Sheet Breakdowns" of class jazz standards
that you can add to your own repertoire right away:
- "Moonlight in Vermont"
- "Satin Doll"
- "The Girl From Ipanema"
I
wanted to cover a ballad, a swing tune that wasn't too fast, and a
Latin tune, which is why I chose these. I also happen to love these
songs, so that helps :-)
In Jazz Piano Fast, I'll show you
where to get your hands on the classic, standard lead sheets for these
3 songs and exactly what to do with them, once
we start applying a few simple techniques at the piano.
Jazz
Is Uniquely American
Jazz originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans
in the late 19th and early 20th centuries - so it's uniquely American
music.
As it turns out, this course came in at just over 4 hours, which makes
it one of my longest courses - probably because I spend a good deal of
time on each of the 3 jazz standards I listed above.
Now, 4 hours of piano lessons these days will probably run you in the
neighborhood of $120 to $280.
However,
since I want as many people as possible to experience the life-changing
piano skills I'll show you in this course, I've decided to celebrate
this uniquely American style of music - by giving
you the opportunity to get Jazz Piano Fast for the special price of
just...

Has To Say After Using My Original, "Professional Piano Chords" Guide:
Sir:
Finding you on the internet was the greatest piano blessing that I have
discovered. Purchasing your product is the BEST MUSICAL INVESTMENT that
I have spent my money on in the last 3 years. And believe me... Over
the past 3 years I have invested literally thousands of dollars in
CD's, Tapes, Books, Music Lessons.
Your program has simplified, what I have exhausted myself searching
for. I am a disabled veteran, so I have much time to practice, study
and research. I literally spend 4 to 5 hours a day practicing on my
Yamaha Piano. For the past 2 years, I have spend $100 each month for
music lessons from a very talented music director. Although he is an
excellent instructor, (I could say musical genius) he sometimes teaches
over my head. (And I consider myself to be intelligent). I have figured
out in 3 hours of disecting your section on 13th Chords, what has
bewildered me with his methodolgy of instruction. Dont get me wrong ..
I have learned a great deal from him, but your program has regenerated
my enthusiasm and has uplifted my spirits and given me great
encouragement.
I finally genuinly feel that there is light at the end of my tunnel. It
all makes sense now. You have filled in the gaps, and I am able to do
this at my pace.
I thank you again, and would highly recommend your product to anyone
that is serious about learning to play music on a keyboard or piano.

And Another Student Who Can Finally Play
What He Only Just Heard Before:
Dear Bill:
Your guide to professional-sounding chords is nothing short of
brilliant! I have been in bands semi-professionally for years as a
singer-guitarist, and now in later years I have enjoyed playing piano
around home as a hobby. Your informative guide is a terrific teaching
tool, but perhaps your follow-up e-mails are even more "key", since
they serve as further incentive for someone to pitch in and get this
stuff learned.
Your information, together with your follow-up program is the best I
have seen in terms of communicating how music works, especially to
those who are intimidated by notes, staffs, clefs, rests, etc. In my
case, I have always been able to "hear" the chords I wanted - now that
I have your book, I am able to play most of them as well.
Thanks, Bill, for sharing this absolutely terrific knowledge.
